Arthur TAYLOR, planter, was granted a warrant for 1500 acres, of which 1000 acres were due unto Thomas Thurston of Baltimore Co. by assignment from Aurcher TAILOUR. On 15 Aug 1683, Thomas Lytfoot, deputy surveyor, laid out for the said Thurston a parcel of land called Elberton, to be held of the Mannor of Baltimore.
