Note: Will of Jacob Haneline, Sr.: In the name of God Amen I Jacob Haneline Sener of the County of Rowan and State of North Carolina being of sound and Perfect mind and memory. Blessed be God do this 20th day of October in the year of our Lord 1812 make and Publish this my last Will & Testament in Manner following, that is to say:

Will of Jacob Haneline, Sr.: In the name of God Amen I Jacob Haneline Sener of the County of Rowan and State of North Carolina being of sound and Perfect mind and memory. Blessed be God do this 20th day of October in the year of our Lord 1812 make and Publish this my last Will & Testament in Manner following, that is to say:
First, I give and Bequeath to my son Thomas Haneline 129 acres of land laid off and deeded to him where he now lives at the Price of $387 and no more of my lands.
Secondly, I give and bequeath to my son Nathan Haneline 115 3/4 acres of land laid off and deeded to him where he now lives at the price of $347.25 and no more of my lands ~
Thirdly, I give and Bequeath to my son John Haneline 116 3/4 acres of land laid off and deeded to him where he now lives at the price of $250 and no more of my lands ~
Fourthly, I give and Bequeath to my son William Haneline 146 acres of land only a small Corner stake of in Hawkins line Beginning at a Post Christopher Howard's corner thence south with Thomas Haneline's line to a stake corner Between Thomas and Nathan Haneline, thence East with Nathan's line to his corner, thence south with Nathan's line to the original line, thence East with the old line to the said Original Corner, thence North to the Old Original Corner thence west to the Beginning at the Price of $250.00 and no more of my lands ~
Fifthly, I give and bequeath unto my son Elijah Haneline when he arrives to the age of 21 years 140 acres of land Beginning at a linn tree on William Bailey's line George Marches Corner from thence East to a sweet Gum from thence south to a black Oak from thence East for Compliment and from thence its several ____ to the Beginning at the Price of $250 and no more of my lands ~
And next Thomas Haneline and Nathan Haneline is to pay back to John and William and Elijah Haneline to the value of their land that it is valid at to make them all Equilly alike ~
And sixthly, I give to my son Jacob Haneline $30 in money that I let him have and one Mare that I have let him have at $50 which makes $80 he has had, and I Leave him as much more out of my Estate in money as will make him Equal to my Other sons land that I have given them all Equal alike and ____ my Blacksmith tools I give to my five sons Thomas Nathan and John and William and Elijah Haneline to have the use of to work on and to let them stay at the shop where they are and if any should move away Let sell their parts to some of the Rest of the Brothers.
Next, I give and Beueath to my Beloved wife ELISABETH HANELINE my house and Plantation whereon I now live until my son Elijah comes of age and then he is to have his part that I have willed him and then my wife is to keep the Reste of my land as long as she lives and at her Death the land is to Be sold and the money equally divided amongst my five Daughters RASwitzerlandL STEWART and ELISABETH FOSTER and Ellinor Haneline and Rebeckah Haneline and Polly Haneline.
Also I give my Beloved wife my oald mare and one cow and one Bed and furnature and as much of my household and kitchen furnature as will Be Sufficient for her to keep house with and as many of my Plantation tools as will be sufficient to Carry on the farm and at her Death it is all to be sold of the Pearsonable Estate and then mony to Equally Divided among all my children RASwitzerlandL and THOMAS, NATHAN and ELISABETH and JOHN and JACOB and WILLIAM and ELLINOR and ELIJAH and REBECKAH and POLLY HANELINE. And RASwitzerlandL STEWART is to have no more of my Estate Real nor Pearsonable.
I likewise give to my Beloved wife a Negro woman Named Pat indure for her Natural Life and also a Negro Boy named Bruffet untill my youngest Daughter Polly comes of the age of Eighteen years oald and all the REst of my Negroes I leave to be hired out the Discretion of my Executors until my Daughter Polly comes of the Age of Eighteen and then the mony is to be Equally Divided Between my Beloved wife and Children Elizabeth Haneline and Thomas and Nathan and John and Jacob and William and Elijah Haneline and Elisabeth Foster and Ellinor and Rebeckah and Polly Haneline and then Bruffet and all the Rest of my Negros and their Increase are to be sold. But Pat and the money to be equally divided between Thomas and Nathan and John and Jacob and William and Elijah Haneline and Elisabeth Foster and Ellenor Haneline and Rebeckah and Polly Haneline.
Also I give to my two youngest Daughters $10 apiece out of my Estate in money when they come of age and also I leave to my two youngest sons William and Elijah Handline one horse Creature apiece to Be worth $45 each or Otherwise to have that much more out of my Estate in money than the Other Children and also I leave my horses cattle hogs sheep and Plantation tools and household and kitchen furnature to Be sold that is not Disposed of in my will at my Decease and the mony to be Equally Divided between my wife and Children Thomas Nathan John and Jacob and William and Elijah Haneline amd Elisabeth Foster and Ellennor and Rebeckah and Polly Haneline ~
and Lastly at the Death of my Beloved wife Elizabeth Haneline, Pat and her Increase is to be sold and te money to Be Equally Divided amongst my Beloved Children Thomas and Nathan and John and Jacob and William and Elijah Haneline and Elizabeth Foster and Ellennor and Rebeckah and Polly Haneline.
