The Story of the MacLean Family Before, During and After the Revolution
Note: Stephen Michael MacLean spent many years compiling genealogy data on the McLean/MacLean heritage. His book "One Family and the Founding of America-The Story of the MacLean Family Before, During and After The Revolution" was not published prior to his death. His mother, Emagene Simms, made sure that the book was published and given to genealogy archives such as Lawrence County, Tennessee, as her son had done a tremendous amount of work and research into the MacLean clan. Sometime during all of his research he changed his name from McLean to MacLean as was used by his ancestors. His mother had him buried using the name McLean. |
