Ronnie Geary, Bro. Mike Stover, and Bro. Onnie Renfroe officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery in Chester County.¶ "She was born and reared in the Chickasaw communituy of Chester County, the daughter of the late Jonah and Cordelia Mae Burkhead Newman. She attended school at Owens School House. She married William Alvin Knipper in 1927, and they lived in the Chicksaw and Silerton area where Mr. Knipper farmed and worked for the state and county highway department. He died in 1986. She worked in environmental services at Jackson-Madison-County General Hospital. She was a memeber of New Home Baptist Church.
