"WANETTE – Services for Pfc. Herman D. Hitt, 19, Shawnee soldier who was accidentally killed while on duty in Japan, February 24th, were here Wednesday.
The boy’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Hitt, Shawnee. The body arrived Tuesday with a military escort."
