The Graphic Georgetown, Ky. Mrs. Alma Taylor Dies At Stamping Ground Mrs. Alma Lucas Taylor, Stamping Ground, widow of the late Dr. John Will Taylor, died Sunday morning at her home after a long illness. ¶ Surviving are a son, Frank A. Taylor, Burnside; a daughter Mrs. Louise Poindexter, of Stamping Ground; three grandchildren, Diana Swann, New Albany Miss., Nancy Wiggs, Owenton, John E. Taylor, Owenton; seven great-grandchildren, Robie, John, and Tim Swann; Jane Lynn Brown, Dawsinda Wiggs,Angela and Jennifer Taylor, two great-great-grandchildren, Mathew and Nicole Brown, Warsaw. ¶ Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Stamping Ground Christian Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Leslie Longard officiating. ¶ Honorary bearers were elders of the church and active bearers the deacons. Harrod Brothes Funeral Home was in charge. Citation details: Memorial# 69956317.
