"BIOGRAPHY: Charles was a sign painter & neon sign maker at one time. He retired from the post office. He also started the Drum & Bugle Core of Auburn. His tombstone notes that he served in WWI as a Sgt. in the US Army. His picture and belongings are in the Auburn Museum."
