Note	"Mrs. Wilkes' Rites Set for Thursday "Rites for Mrs. J. B. Wilkes, 84, who died here Tuesday morning, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Gary Hoffius, a grandson who is pastor of the West Nichols Hill Presbeterian Church in Oklahoma City, will officiate. "Burial is to be in Rule Cemetery beside the grave of the husband who died in 1912. "Mrs. Wilkes died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Stowe, 889 Santos St. She was born Oct. 16, 1864, at Lafayette and for many years lived at Rule. She came to Abilene from Graham in November. "Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. M. L. Hunter of Dallas, Mrs. Harry Ragan of Graham, Mrs. Wayne Rauch of Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Stowe of Abilene; two sons, John Wilkes and T. B.
