Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday Feb. 2, 2003, at Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance, with Rev. Larry Sanders officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance. She was born Aug. 1, 1910, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Ernest Martin and Lula Ann Nichols Wilkes. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Gloria Wright, Sue and Harvey Schilling, all of Gainesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul E. and Shirley Wright, Jr., of Huntington; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Woodmere Memorial Park, Abbey of Remembrance from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday Feb. 2, 2003. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
