Administrator's bond, "Know all men by these presents that we SARAH BARTLESON & TIMOTHY RAINS of the Co. of Salem are held & firmly bound unto his Excellency John Montgomery, Capt. Generall & Commander in Chief of the Province of New Jersey New York etc. in full & such sum of Eighty Pounds Lawfull Money of America to be paid if Said John Montgomery & his successors to which payment well & truly to be made done We bind our Selves Joyntly & Severally our & Each of our Hairs Excrs. Comrs. by these Presents Sealed with our Seales Dated this 25 Day of May A.D. 1729.
