He was the son of Rev. Ephraim McLean, and grandson of Col. Charles McLean. Doctor McLean removed to Randolph County, Missouri, about 1830. He later sold to Daniel Marshall and Charles H. Heard the remainder of his quarter section on which McLeansboro was located. |
