Note: DIED, at her residence in Todd county, Ky., Feb. 28, 1870, Mrs. ANN ROACH, in the 59th years of her age.¶ She was the consort of John Roach, and daughter of Rev. Ephraim McLean, who was the first minister ordained by the first Presbytery constituting the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.¶ Mrs. Roach was long a faithful and devout member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church; and, at the end of her toils, she calmly fell asleep in Jesus "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them, also, which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." ¶ [Source: Banner of Peace [Nashville, Tennessee], March 31, 1870, page 4] |
