Note: Valgene Aaron "Val" McLean - Valgene "Val" Aaron McLean, 67, of Wimberley, passed away on March 10, 2008. Val was born on October 2, 1940 in Lampasas, Texas. He was a very caring and generous friend and brother-in- law. Val was predeceased by his true love, Beth. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, building model airplanes, and his variety of collections. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked and retired from Affiliated Foods in Amarillo, Texas. Val was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Beth, and his special cat "Biggie". He is survived by one brother, Roland McLean, and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 in Dripping Springs. Reverend John Ellis officiated. A special "Thank You" to his dear friend, Steve Hisle and to the entire staff at the Christopher House Hospice Care Center. Val will be greatly missed. |
