You will come upon a cattle guard where CR 198 turns into CR 2015. After the cattle guard, follow the road for about another .5 mile to the back side of the cemetery. Turn right on the road by the cemetery and follow it around to the front entrance. After his divorce Vane went to Japan as a civil engineer, U.S. govt. employee in 1946. When his parents said good-bye to him on their farm near Dublin, he drove away, and his 62 year old father had a heart attack and died immediately. The family was able to contact Vane before he left the area and stayed for the funeral in Nov 1946.

Yasuko and the children moved from Japan to Wichita Falls, TX, near Karl's while Vane went to worked in Korea and Thailand in 1966. He returned to the United States in Oct 1969 at Wichita Falls, TX. He later went to Pakistan for the United Nations. They moved to Arlington, TX, and opened a custom jewelry business. |

He and Yasuko A. Akatsuka met in 1947 at Japan. He came home from Japan when his mother was in a coma and died Aug 30th after having a stroke; she was buried Aug 31st in Aug 1951 at Dublin, TX. |
