"A. J. Perry, a resident of Lampasas since 1903, died in the Spann sanitarium in Dallas, where he was taken a few days ago, Sunday afternoon, May 10, 1:15 o'clock. While he had been in falling health for some years, he was able to be around town till a short while ago and his death was a shock to his many friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Wm. Harry Moore, pastor of the Methodist church, at the family home Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock and burial was in Oak Hill cemetery."
Pallbearers were his grandsons, Perry and Blake McLean, Harry and LaVaughn Perry, and Holland and Gerald McCarver."

I being his distrbute?, maid by the Probate court at the december term 1863. Elisha W. Patterson."

Note: Elisha W. Patterson was a minister (Reverend), born 1783 in Pendleton, Anderson County, South Carolina and died 1854 in St. Louis County, Missouri. As far as can be determined he had only 1 natural daughter.
