Perry, a resident of Lampasas since 1903, died in the Spann sanitarium in Dallas, where he was taken a few days ago, Sunday afternoon, May 10, 1:15 o'clock. While he had been in falling health for some years, he was able to be around town till a short while ago and his death was a shock to his many friends. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Wm. Harry Moore, pastor of the Methodist church, at the family home Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock and burial was in Oak Hill cemetery." Pallbearers were his grandsons, Perry and Blake McLean, Harry and LaVaughn Perry, and Holland and Gerald McCarver."
